White Pollen Skyrocket (Ipomopsis aggregata ssp. formosissima)
Best Photography Opportunities on the Castle Crest Wildflower Trail
Spring-Fed Meadow: This is the main attraction. The meadow is carpeted with wildflowers from mid-July to August, offering a riot of colors and textures.
Streams and Brooks: The small brook running through the meadow adds a dynamic element to your photos.

For the best wildflower viewing, plan your visit during June and July when the meadow is in full bloom. The trail is usually covered in snow from October to early July, so spring and summer are your best bets1.
